Russian attack on Kyiv HPP causes minimal damage – Kyiv Regional Military Administration
On Monday morning, August 26, the Russian military attacked the Vyshhorod Kyiv Hydroelectric Power Station.
The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, reported on Facebook.
Kravchenko stated that the Kyiv HPP's dam limited traffic due to the Russians' early morning attack. They anticipated that traffic would resume around 4–5 pm.
He also mentioned that the destruction has been documented in all seven districts of the region. So far, the damage includes energy facilities, over 40 houses, five cars, warehouses, garages, and fences.
"Due to problems with energy supply, we quickly opened more than 340 Invincibility Points where people can recharge their phones and gadgets," Kravchenko wrote.
