Netherlands allocates €350 mln for Ukraine ammunition and F-16s
Dutch Defense Minister Keesa Ollongren announces the allocation of €350 million in military aid to Ukraine, the defense ministry.
Part of these funds, €150 million, will be used to purchase air-to-ground munitions for F-16 fighters.
The Netherlands is sending the promised planes to Romania again to be used in a training center for Ukrainian and Romanian pilots.
"The Netherlands, together with Denmark and the United States, leads the Air Force coalition within the framework of Ramstein. 18 Dutch fighter jets have been provided for training in Romania. The remaining 24 aircraft are intended for delivery to Ukraine. Some of them are currently being prepared in coordination with coalition partners."
The defense ministry also informed that the Netherlands is allocating more than €200 million for the purchase of unmanned aerial vehicles.
