BGV Charity Fund has launched corner in FC “Polissia” summer fan zone
Football enthusiasts can now support the mental well-being of teenagers — children of military personnel and from internally displaced families.
On Saturday, March 9, the summer fan zone of the "Polissia" football club in Zhytomyr welcomed the "SvitTY for Children of Heroes and IDPs" charity corner.
Every visitor can stop by during home match days, donate a fixed amount — 100 hryvnias — and be guaranteed to win one of the branded items: a postcard with photos and autographs of footballers, a water bottle, a mug for favorite drinks, keychains, a bag, or a T-shirt.
All funding raised by the BGV Charity Fund will be directed toward financing the activities of the "Svity" psychosocial support center for children of military personnel and internally displaced persons aged 12 to 16.
On the same day, the Dubrovets family from the Olevsk community visited the fund's charity corner on Saturday. These are eight children currently under the care of close relatives, as they lost their parents in a tragic mine explosion.
Representatives of the BGV Charity Fund and FC "Polissia" gifted the children a gaming console. Earlier, the BGV fund had arranged a house for the family because the parents were unable to complete it.
