Solutions to win: Prykarpattia launches new drone manufacturing lab
A laboratory for the production of drones was launched in Prykarpattia [most of the Ivano-Frankivsk region and parts of the Lviv and Chernivtsi regions – ed.], which became part of the "Hundred for Ten" initiative for the Edelweiss Separate Mountain Assault Brigade.
The Edelweiss Separate Mountain Assault Brigade Support Fund reported that on Facebook.
What is the problem?
Drones serve as the military's eyes, enabling them to conduct reconnaissance along the entire front, spot Russian troops and enemy equipment, and adjust artillery fire from a distance. The drones use thermal imaging to detect the Russians, and the Ukrainian military ensures they are no longer visible on the screens.
Ukrainians, in turn, actively help to purchase them and collect funds for this since the defenders need thousands of drones to fight against the Russian aggressor effectively.
What is the solution?

How does it work?
According to their experts, the military's main concern with drones is not the number of drones but rather the level of quality they possess. The laboratory maintains regular communication with the team at Edelweiss, enabling manufacturers to enhance the quality of their drones swiftly.
As the fund said, "In the process of constant communication with the engineers and pilots of the brigade, it was possible to create a "bird" specifically for the needs of Edelweiss."

"As a result, a laboratory for the production of drones was launched, which became part of the "Hundred for Ten" initiative," the message emphasized.
It is noted that more than fifty FPV drones of their production have already been transferred from the laboratory to the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade "Edelweiss."

Currently, the Brigade Support Fund does not refuse to buy drones from proven manufacturers, but also increases its production of UAVs.
For reference:
On December 19, during a press conference, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that one million drones will be produced in Ukraine next year.
In addition to 1 million FPV drones, in 2024, more than 10,000 medium-range strike drones and more than 1,000 drones with a range of 1,000 km will be produced.
However, on March 5, it became known that Ukrainian drone manufacturers can produce up to 150,000 units of products every month. By the end of 2024, it is planned to reach a total of 2 million drones.
In addition, serial production of the domestic analog of Shahed drones was established in Ukraine. Dozens of such drones can be produced in a month.
Also, Ukraine has already concluded five agreements on the joint production of weapons with the world's leading companies; this year, dozens more such joint ventures will be created.
