Ukraine evacuates 59 more citizens from Gaza Strip


Ukraine's embassy in Israel reports another group of Ukrainians, including fifteen children, was evacuated from Gaza on March 7 and 8.

They are currently being temporarily accommodated in Egypt. Through the Rafah checkpoint, 59 Ukrainian citizens and their family members were taken to the state.

"Thanks to the efforts of representatives of the Defence Intelligence and diplomats of the Ukrainian embassies in Israel and Egypt, the evacuation was successful, the Ukrainian citizens are accommodated in a hotel, and will arrive home in the near future." the statement said.

On November 8, Ukraine successfully evacuated the first group of its citizens from the Gaza Strip, which included 43 people.

On November 9, the state received permits to leave the Gaza Strip for another 228 citizens of our country.

On November 11, 11 more Ukrainians left the enclave. At that time, 145 Ukrainian citizens who had been evacuated from Gaza arrived at the airport in Moldova.
