Solutions to win: 23 Ukrainian universities host rally to raise over $50,000 for combat drones
Students from 23 Ukrainian higher education institutions have united to raise $50,000 to buy FPV drones for the Armed Forces.
All the money will be used to raise the Swarm of Vengeance drones, the press release says.
What is the problem?
Although the Ukrainian military is provided with everything it needs to resist Russian advance, given the numerous invasions of troops and equipment, modern means of combat are needed more and more.
"FPV drones replace shells for our defenders. In the hands of a skilled operator, a drone costing a few hundred dollars can damage and disable the enemy's heavy equipment worth millions of dollars, and at a depth of a couple of tens of kilometers," said the prominent volunteer Serhii Prytula.
FPV drones not only destroy enemy equipment, but also work on mine clearance.
What is the solution?
The Serhii Prytula Charitable Foundation, together with the online car call service Uklon and the !FEST emotions holding company, are raising money for 5000 FPV drones that have proven effective at the front.
Students of 23 higher education institutions across Ukraine have joined forces to raise 2 million hryvnias for FPV drones for Ukrainian soldiers.
How does it work?
Students who raise the largest amount will be able to choose a unique craftname for the entire batch of FPV drones.
These signatures will be used to identify the defeat of Russian equipment or the enemy by these "student" drones.
Previous raffle helped to purchase and transfer them to Ukrainian forces 2500 FOXEER 7-inch FPV drones, which have proven themselves in destroying enemy targets and are used for a large number of tasks; 2500 Bucephalus 9-inch FPV drones, which operate over long distances, carry a larger payload and will engage the enemy in the deep rear.
