Ukraine's defense minister invites Swedish arms manufacturers to cooperate

Defense Minister Rustem Umierov held a meeting with a delegation of members of the Defense Committee of the Swedish Parliament.
Umierov announced this on Facebook.
"I was glad to welcome a delegation of members of the Defense Committee of the Swedish Parliament to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine," Umierov noted.
The Minister of Defense expressed his gratitude to the head of the Swedish delegation, Peter Hultqvist, and the entire Swedish Parliament for their support and military assistance.
"I informed the Swedish deputies about the work of the ministry's team. I invited the Swedish arms manufacturers to cooperate," Umierov emphasized.

It should be noted that Rustem Umierov was recently appointed as the Minister of Defense of Ukraine. He replaced Oleksii Reznikov in this position.
The military department experienced personnel changes amidst scandals surrounding their procurement of equipment.
