Solutions to win: Kyiv Cryptology School starts free financial literacy course for teenagers

Kyiv online school Cryptology and the WhiteBIT cryptocurrency center have launched a course of offline lectures on Financial and Digital Literacy for teenagers.

What is the problem?

Previous surveys regarding financial literacy in 2018 and 2021 showed Ukrainians want their children to learn financial literacy at school.

According to a survey conducted by Ukraine's National Bank among teenagers for the first time this year, 86% of respondents believe that talking about money during school lessons is necessary.

Given the demand for financial education in schools, Ukraine's Education Ministry plans to introduce a new compulsory subject, called "Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy," for 8-9th grade students in 2025-2026, which will be a powerful push for the development of financial education.

Russia's new stage of war has stopped the boosted program, although the demand for financial literacy among young people continues to grow.

What is the solution?

The Cryptology online school has launched a course of lectures on Financial and Digital Literacy for teens.

How does it work?

The course is aimed at raising youth awareness of finance and investment management and will be held at the Digital Traders Hub educational space in Kyiv from September 3 to November 26, 2023.

Classes will reportedly be held once a week for teenagers aged 14 to 17.

The course consists of 11 modules, including theoretical and practical parts, with a total duration of 26.5 hours.

During the lectures, students will learn about financial instruments, their analysis, investment portfolios, risk diversification, psychological aspects of investing, etc.

The two-month training program will help students master the latest financial instruments and learn the strategies for managing them.

Cryptocurrency coworking subscribers can attend thematic lectures and other events from the Cryptology team of traders, which will allow them to regularly improve their skills and knowledge in the field of trading and cryptocurrencies.
