Russia shells Sumy region, injuring two
Today, September 2, around 10:30 a.m., Russian forces from the territory of the Russian Federation launched a mortar attack on the town of Seredyna-Buda, Shostka district.

The projectiles were aimed at the official car of the "Shostka district of electrical networks" branch of JSC "Sumyoblenergo". Two workers were injured. A power line, two institutions, and a local enterprise were also damaged.
Under the procedural leadership of the Shostka District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war has been launched.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, record the consequences of the shelling.

On September 1, at around 12:00 p.m., Russian forces from the territory of the Russian Federation launched an artillery shelling of the town of Seredyna-Buda, Shostka district. As a result of the enemy attack, four local residents received shrapnel wounds. 16 apartment buildings, 12 private households, a critical infrastructure object, five administrative buildings and institutions, three educational institutions, shops, and vehicles were damaged.
