Solutions to win: combat kayak tested in Kyiv region

The tests of the Poloz-M16 combat kayak, which is capable of carrying 480 kg and is equipped with an electric motor and a grenade launcher, were conducted in the Kyiv region.

What is the problem?
Even before the start of the full-scale war, the president declared the construction of a large fleet by 2035. This meant that Ukraine would constantly increase its naval potential. However, Russian aggression made its adjustments.
At this time, our defenders especially need boats because, after the liberation of Kherson, the Defense Forces headed off to the Dnipro River.
What is the solution?
Tests of the "Poloz-M16" combat kayak were conducted in the Kyiv region.

In addition, when developing a kayak model, the inventors took into account the combat experience gained by the Ukrainian army in this war.
How does it work?
As developers say, a two-seater kayak can carry 480 kg.
In addition, there is a 40 mm UAG-40 grenade launcher on the kayak's bow. With its help, you can strike with fragmentation or high-explosive grenades.

The target shooting range reaches 1.5 km, and the target is hit at a distance of more than 2 km.

The kayak also has a small cooking stove so the defenders can carry out tasks for several weeks or months.
If necessary, a wounded person can be placed in a water vehicle.
"Also, the kayak can carry ammunition or drones and launch them from the reeds to where needed. There are two compartments for sailors and three more compartments that can be used for one more passenger and weapons, or you can even put a dog in," said one of the servicemen who tested the Ukrainian development.

A serviceman of Ukraine's armed forces with the call sign "Bobrocoyot" says that the "Poloz-M16" differs in design from ordinary kayaks.
"The peculiarity of the electric motor on the Poloz-M16 is that it allows you to control the kayak remotely using the remote control: turns, speed – everything is adjustable. The motor is almost silent – quieter than rowing with oars. That is, to sneak somewhere, hide in the reeds – it's no problem," emphasizes the military man.
