Russian propaganda seeks to disrupt Ukraine's relations with partners – intelligence
The main tasks of Russian propaganda at the current stage are to destroy the internal unity of Ukrainian society and undermine trust between Ukraine and its partners.
In an interview with civilmedia.mk, the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Vadym Skibitsky, stated this, the press service of the Ukrainian Intelligence reports.
"He (Skibitsky – ed.) added that within Russia, the Kremlin's propaganda efforts are aimed at fueling the myth that today's Russia still retains the ability to develop," the report says.
According to the speaker, after the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation, Ukraine applies the approach of more active counteraction to Russian propaganda.
"Our main weapon in this process is the truth. The military intelligence of Ukraine, for example, has become more open: we publish facts. These separate intelligence data reveal the aggressor's intentions; we make public evidence of war crimes committed by Russia," said the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
In his opinion, this approach proves its effectiveness: Russian propaganda cannot achieve its primary goals, and therefore the Russian Federation loses in the information war.
