Russian airstrike on Kryvyi Rih kills six and injures 25, trapping several under rubble overnight

On the night of June 13, Russian invaders targeted a 5-story building in Kryvyi Rih, the metallurgical city in Ukraine's central Dnipropetrovsk region, causing destruction and a severe fire: 25 civilians were injured, and six were killed. There may be people under the rubble.

"High-precision monsters hit several completely peaceful objects in different parts of the city, including a five-story building," Vilkul stressed.

Later, Lysak said there were victims of the massive Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih.

"Another terrorist attack by the Russians on the residential sector. At night. Insidious. Cruel. There are dead and wounded," the official said.

Later, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk region reported that three residents were killed. Twenty-five people were injured, and 19 of them are in hospital.

Lysak added apartments from the first to the fifth floors are on fire. The fire covered 700 square meters. Rescuers are putting it out.

According to him, three more victims were recorded at a private enterprise. They were hospitalized. There are probably people under the rubble of the gutted warehouse. Rescuers are looking for them. Six cars were damaged.

The head of the region also emphasized that four more were injured at another location. A building and a car were on fire there. The fire has already been extinguished.

Governor Lysak added that the automobile enterprise was also damaged. Trucks caught fire. The flames have already been extinguished in a destroyed farm building. There is also damage in the rescue unit.

"Relevant services are working everywhere. The consequences of this cynical attack are being clarified," Lysak said. "The enemy will not leave Nikopol in peace either. At night, Pokrovsk and Marhanets communities were shelled with heavy artillery. The territory is being examined."

Later, the head of the military administration of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkul, said that seven people may still be trapped in the rubble.

"Unfortunately, there are already 25 wounded, three dead, and seven people probably under the rubble," the head of the military administration wrote.

In Kryvyi Rih, a search and rescue operation is still ongoing at the site of a Russian missile strike.

Vilkul informed locals about the headquarters' deployment to assist the rocket attack victims.

Vilkul added that hot meals are constantly provided, as well as places for resettlement, building materials, food, and other things; everything is available.

UPD: The number of dead in Kryvyi Rih has increased to six, Mayor Oleksandr Vilkul said. The rescue operation is ongoing.
