During the morning attack on Kyiv, the Russian army previously used Iskander missiles, possibly S-300 or S-400, which fly on a ballistic trajectory, Ukraine's Air Force reports.

Explosions were heard almost immediately after issuing an air raid alarm.

Everyone noticed that there was a short period of time between the announcement of the alarm and the start of the attack. This indicates that missiles that fly on a ballistic trajectory were used, as they arrive quite quickly. Previously, these were Iskanders, the spokesperson Yurii Ihnat said.

The spokesman noted that Iskander missiles come in various modifications.

There is also a possibility that S-300 and S-400 missiles were used, which can also fly on a ballistic trajectory, Ihnat concluded.

These types of missiles are nearly impossible to intercept unless there is a powerful air defense system in service.

Kyiv's mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported burning missile fragments falling on a road in the northern Obolonsky district.

Missile fragments also fell in the Podilsky district, causing fire on the roof of a two-story building and leaving one injured, who was then hospitalized.
