Russian forces fire 200 artillery and aerial munitions at Kherson region

During the past 24 hours, the Russian forces shelled and bombarded the territory of the Kherson region in Ukraine's south 46 times.
Rubryka reports, citing the report by the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, on the Telegram messaging app, that the Russian occupiers fired 185 shells and missiles from heavy artillery, drones, and aviation.
According to the official, the Russian forces attacked Kherson 5 times. Kherson has been under constant shelling and airstrikes by Russian troops since the Ukrainian forces liberated it from the occupation in November 2022. Kherson City and the right Dnieper river bank part of the region had been under Russian occupation for eight months.
Governor Prokudin reported that the projectiles struck the residential quarters of the settlements and the plant's territory in the regional center.
"As a result of enemy shelling, one person died, and two were injured," the head of the region added.
Due to Russian shelling, 72 civilians were evacuated from the de-occupied territory of the Kherson region on April 12.
According to earlier reports, on the evening of April 12, the Russian occupiers launched a rocket attack on the town of Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region.
