Canada to provide Ukraine with new defense aid package

Canada will immediately transfer tens of thousands of small arms and a million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reports, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced this during a press conference in Toronto.

According to him, assault rifles, automatic weapons, and a million rounds of ammunition will be sent from the warehouses of the Canadian Armed Forces to Ukraine.

In addition, Canada announced the expansion of sanctions against Russia, adding 14 individuals and 34 legal entities to the sanctions list.

Also, nine Belarusian financial companies came under Canadian sanctions.
