Ukrainian defenders successfully repel over 20 enemy attacks, destroy Russian ammunition depot – General Staff

Service members of Ukraine's armed forces destroyed the enemy's ammunition depot and repelled more than 20 attacks by the Russian invaders in the Donetsk region.
The General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces reports this.
During the day, the enemy launched 21 air strikes and five missile strikes, 4 of which were from the S-300 air defense system on the peaceful city of Kramatorsk. Also, the occupiers launched about 30 attacks from multiple rocket launchers on the Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas' civilian infrastructure.
The Russian Federation continues to disregard the laws and customs of war, so the probability of launching missile and air strikes remains high throughout the territory of Ukraine. Despite numerous losses in equipment and workforce, the enemy does not give up waging a war of aggression. It continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka fronts – more than 20 enemy attacks were repelled that day.
- The operational situation has mostly stayed the same on the Volyn, Polissia, Siversk, and Slobozhansk fronts. Specific units of the territorial troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to be on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. Still, no signs of the formation of offensive groups of the enemy have been detected.
The enemy maintains a military presence in the Kursk and Belgorod regions bordering Ukraine and continues carrying out engineering equipment there. During the day, the enemy shelled the settlements of Hremyach and Kamianska Sloboda in the Chernihiv region; Volfyne, Andriyivka, and Popivka in the Sumy region, as well as Veterynarne, Strelecha, Hatishche, Vovchanski Khutory, Okhrimivka and Vilkhuvatka in the Kharkiv region.
- Kamianka, Kolodyazne, Krasne Pershe, Dvorichna, Vilshana, Kindrashivka, Kislivka, and Berestov of the Kharkiv region came under enemy fire on the Kupiansk front.
- During the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions on the Lyman front near the settlements of Makiivka, Chervonopopivka, and Bilohorivka. Makiivka, Nevske, and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Spirne, and Berestov in the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
- Near Bakhmut, the enemy continues to conduct offensive actions and tries to take complete control of the city of Bakhmut; the fighting continues. During the day, the enemy led unsuccessful offensive efforts near Bohdanivka and Khromovo. Zaliznianske, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Khromove, Ivanovske, Predtechyne, Chasiv Yar, Ozarianivka, Druzhba, and New York of the Donetsk region were affected by enemy shelling.
- On the Avdiivka and Mariinka fronts, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the areas of Avdiivka, Sieverne, Nevelske, and Mariinka settlements of the Donetsk region without success. The fiercest battles continue for Avdiivka and Mariinka. At the same time, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Heorgiivka, Mariinka, and Pobieda came under enemy fire.
- During the day, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations on the Shakhtarsky front. Russians shelled the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, and Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region.
- The enemy continues to conduct defensive operations on the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts. The enemy shelled, in particular, Vremivka in the Donetsk region and Novodanilivka, Orihiv, Novoandriivka, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhia region.
The Russian occupiers strengthened the counter-intelligence regime in the temporarily occupied territories. The number of roadblocks and patrols increased in Starobilsk, Luhansk region, and around the city. The situation is somewhat similar in the city of Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region. Fearing the leakage of information about the locations of the occupying units, the invaders began to restrict specific traffic routes to local taxi drivers.
Successes of the Ukrainian military
During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces made eight strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers. An enemy Mi-24 helicopter and 6 UAVs of various types (2 attack and four reconnaissance UAVs) were also shot down.
Units of rocket troops and artillery struck the area of concentration of workforce, weapons, military equipment, and the enemy's ammunition depot.

It should be noted that Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 670 Russian occupiers over the past day. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian Federation has lost 178,820 of its soldiers.
Ukrainian soldiers also repelled about 60 attacks and destroyed four air defense systems and five electronic warfare stations of the Russian invaders.
