Ukrainian forces shoot down kamikaze drone over western Lviv region
Fighters of Ukraine's West Air Command shot down a Shahed kamikaze drone of Iranian origin over the Lviv region.
The head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, reported:
"Air defense forces shot down an Iranian Shahed kamikaze drone over Lviv region. There were no casualties or damage in the region. We thank our defenders at West Air Command for their brilliant work!" he said.
It should be noted that the air alert was announced at 4 in the morning.
It was reported that on the night of November 4 in the Dnipropetrovsk region, air defense forces downed eight enemy Shahed drones.
This was announced by the head of the military administration of the Dnipropetrovsk region Valentyn Reznichenko.
"Our air defense did a great job this night. It downed eight enemy Shaheds [drones]. All of these kamikaze drones were destroyed by the military from the East Air Command in the Nikopol district. Cool job! The russians terrorized the district with other weapons as well. They shelled four communities with Grads [MRLS] and heavy artillery: Nikopol, Myrivka, Chervonohryhorivka, and Marhanets. There were no casualties. In the Chervonohryhorivka community, residential buildings, cars, and a gas pipeline were damaged. The power line was broken. In other areas, the air raid siren was wailing at night, but there were no enemy strikes, and it was calm for the moment," Reznichenko said.
