By the end of the year, the Verkhovna Rada will pass the laws necessary for the start of negotiations on joining the European Union.

It was announced by the Speaker of the Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, on Facebook.

According to him, the main activity on the European integration track in the session hall will begin in September.

"We clearly know how to fulfill the seven demands that Ukraine received almost a month ago. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is preparing the necessary list of draft laws," he said.

Stefanchuk noted that we are talking about the reform of the Constitutional Court — a competitive selection system must be introduced.

"We must integrate international standards in the fight against money laundering, make changes to the law on oligarchs, etc. "The parliament is in close cooperation with the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and European parliaments," he said.

Stefanchuk noted that it is important for the Verkhovna Rada not to re-vote later.
