Today, President of Turkey will talk to Zelenskyy and then to Putin
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to hold talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on March 25, and then possibly with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This was reported by the Anadolu Agency.
"Today (March 25 – ed.), I will hold talks with Zelenskyy. Negotiations with Putin are possible over the weekend or early next week," Erdogan said.
Erdogan said he would discuss the NATO summit with the presidents of Ukraine and Russia.
Note
On March 24, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the North Atlantic Alliance with a request to provide weapons to protect against the Russian attack, disclosing details of Ukraine's request.
Zelenskyy also asked NATO never to say that the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which had shown their strength in the war with Russia, did not meet Alliance standards.
On 24 March, the Secretary-General of the Alliance confirmed that NATO had no plans to close its skies over Ukraine with Allied forces.
Although there is a NATO decision to supply air defense systems to Ukraine from Slovakia, the completion of this supply is unknown.
At the same time, Congress calls on Biden to provide Ukraine with air defense systems and fighters.
