Antonov State Enterprise proposes to launch the International Fund for the revival of the An-225 Mriia Transport Aircraft.

An-225 Mriia is the largest aircraft in terms of cargo weight and is unique in its parameters. For more than 30 years of operation on airlines, the aircraft has shown the ability to carry oversized cargo, which any other cargo aircraft cannot carry.
"The An-225 has set 240 unbroken world records. In addition, the An-225 has the ability to perform horizontal flights of spacecraft and missiles in flight, transporting certain types of cargo on the fuselage," the statement said.
The company informed that in February 2022, during the full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine, the An-225 Mriia plane was destroyed.
"The staff of Antonov considers it necessary to prevent the complete irreversible loss of the legendary aircraft as one of the symbols of modernity and to begin the revival of the flagship transport aircraft," said the company.
For this purpose, they have a design and scientific and technical documentation.
In this regard, Antonov makes a proposal to the heads of state and government of all countries to financially support the project of revival.
