Podoliak: Belarus won't dare to join Russian occupiers in the war against Ukraine

The Belarusian army won't dare to join the Russian occupiers in the war against Ukraine

This is the opinion of Mykhailo Podoliak, an adviser to the Head of the Office of the President, who is a participant in talks with the Russian delegation, Rubryka reports.

He stated this at a briefing with the Head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia.

"I would not exaggerate the risks posed by Belarus," the adviser said.

"That is, the information occasionally appears that there is activation, mobilization, and so on. But when you check the information: today there is no mobilization to the extent that would be sufficient for Belarus to take part in hostilities.

This, I emphasize, is official information.

Thus, Belarus provided its territory for infrastructural actions of the Russian army within the "allied relations" between them. But no more.

So far, there are no threats to date from the Belarusian side, direct invasion, i.e. their involvement in a foreign operation," Podoliak stressed.

The OP representative believes that Russia is losing the opportunity for support or solidarity from any country, including Belarus.

But the adviser acknowledged that the situation with the current leadership of Belarus is difficult.

To recap, the Belarusian leadership allowed the Russian army to use its territory for logistics, as well as for launching at least 70 missiles at facilities in Ukraine.
