New kamikaze drones developed in Ukraine
The designers shared the kamikaze drone model development
Ukraine is developing promising airborne loitering munition and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to hit a wide range of different targets.
This is stated in a video presentation of the Pivdenne design bureau on the results of work in 2021, which was published on YouTube, UNIAN reports.
The so-called kamikaze drones will use modern combat employment schemes.
According to the Militarnyi portal, they can be launched from various manned and unmanned aerial platforms.
Earlier it became known that kamikaze drone testing in Ukraine is planned for this spring. After that, ammunition can be adopted by the Ukrainian army.
And in November it was reported that Ukraine is going to launch mass production of ammunition for grenade launchers for the first time.
