Dostupno app now has new features helping low-mobile population groups to navigate in Ukrainian cities

Dostupno.UA public organization presented new functions of their Dostupno application. The app helps low-mobility groups to navigate in Ukrainian cities. There you can quickly find barrier-free locations convenient for everyone: friendly to people with disabilities, parents with young children, the elderly, cyclists, and those who like to visit venues with pets.
What has changed?
New types of locations
The locations are conveniently sorted according to needs: are you hungry, here's an affordable restaurant or supermarket, do you want to have fun, here's a theater, cinema or park? Now on the map, you'll also find the category: hotels (hostels, apartments, guest houses, they're still working on filling them out), health (pharmacies), and shops (non-food products, pet stores, children's shops, bookstores).

Thanks to this filter you'll find the most convenient venues for low-mobility groups of the population which have already received the award. Accessible entrance and barrier-free space inside and many of them have equipped toilets. 76 locations recommended by Dostupno.UA.
Updated location ratings and search options
Many locations receive a red rating, the lowest one. This has been fixed. Now the location entrance block has received the highest priority. And if the entrance is accessible, the location will receive a yellow or even the best green rating. An accessible entrance, on the same level as the sidewalk or ramps up to 5 degrees and a doorway width of 68 cm, will help you find one of these locations. There are several blocks: entrance, toilet, the convenience inside, parking, for children, and more. Each of them receives an assessment and on their basis, the general assessment of the business is formed. The higher the score of each block is, the more chances to get the highest rating are.
