Russian coronavirus vaccine is a hybrid weapon against Ukraine - Kuleba
Russian coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V is a hybrid weapon of Russia against Ukraine.
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated this in an interview with The Day.
He noted that the vaccine issue was a classic example of hybrid diplomacy. According to Kuleba, there are several dimensions to this issue. There is a classic way to get or access the vaccine through the COVAX system; there are opportunities to negotiate directly with individual manufacturers, and there is a hybrid opportunity to contact countries that have already reserved a large stock of the vaccine and ask them now to give us a small share expecting they will still replenish their stocks.
"And there's another hybrid dimension in this story, the situation with the Russian vaccine. We understand that when it comes to the Russian vaccine, it's a hybrid weapon of Russia against Ukraine," Kuleba said.
