Trump's speech was quite long and resembled his campaign speeches. The audience was shown videos, billionaire Elon Musk took the stage, and Trump introduced key employees of the new administration.

First, Trump said that after the inauguration, he intends to sign many decrees that will "make Americans very happy."

"It all starts tomorrow. Tomorrow, you will have much fun watching TV," Donald Trump promised. "[…] Every radical and stupid decree of the Biden administration will be canceled within a few hours of me taking the oath."

He added that the new administration intends to "end the rule of the failed establishment in Washington" and "make America great again."

Speaking about foreign policy, Trump again stated that he would stop the war in Ukraine but did not detail how he plans to do it.

"I will stop the war in Ukraine. I will stop the chaos in the Middle East, and I can prevent World War III. You have no idea how close we are to that," Trump said.

Regarding the Gaza truce, Trump said that "this agreement could only have been achieved as a result of our historic victory in November."

Trump also pledged to put an end to what he called the "invasion" of illegal immigrants at the US border. On Monday, he mentioned that he would reveal specific measures to address this issue in his inaugural address.

In addition, Trump said that after taking office, he would strengthen America's missile defense and order the creation of an Iron Dome missile shield for the entire country.

"I will order the military to begin construction of a large "Iron Dome" – a missile shield that will be completely made in the United States," Trump said.

In addition, Trump said that he likes the social network TikTok and that it must be saved:

"Starting today, TikTok is coming back to the United States."

The newly elected US president added:

"Frankly, we have no choice; we have to keep it. There are many jobs. We don't want to give our business to China; we don't want to give our business to other people."

Trump also posted on his social network, TruthSocial, about his plan to delay the ban on TikTok in the US Representatives from the app announced that they had started resuming operations in the country.

It is reported that on Sunday, on the eve of preparing to return to the White House on Monday, Trump honored the memory of the American military by laying flowers at Arlington National Cemetery.
