New Ukrainian cuisine restaurant opens in London

A new restaurant, Tatar Bunar, has launched in London, offering the British a taste of modern and authentic Ukrainian cuisine.
The Embassy of Ukraine to the United Kingdom reported this on Facebook.
A new gastronomic address on the culinary map of London appeared thanks to Ukrainian restaurateurs:

This became another example of how culture and taste can tell the world about a country.
"Culinary diplomacy is not only about dishes, but also about history, traditions, and hospitality, which we convey through food," the diplomatic mission noted.
Currently, the Tatar Bunar team is actively looking for Ukrainian servers with work experience and knowledge of English. Those wishing to join the gastronomic mission can send their resume to: tatarbnar.london@gmail.com.

It should be noted that CNN has compiled a list of "must-see documentaries of 2024", which includes a film about the most famous Ukrainian restaurant, Veselka, in New York (USA).
Actor David Duchovny, who voiced the documentary about Veselka, grew up just two blocks from the restaurant and witnessed its evolution over the decades. An American of Ukrainian descent, Duchovny's grandfather hailed from Berdychiv in the Zhytomyr region before emigrating to the USA.
The Veselka restaurant was founded in 1954 by Ukrainians Volodymyr and Olha Darmokhval. The couple moved to the USA in the late 1940s.
It was also reported that, for the first time, the official Michelin Guide included the Ukrainian cuisine restaurant Anelya Chicago, which operates in the American city of Chicago.
The restaurant is named after chef Johnny Clarke's grandmother, Anelya, who was born in Kharkiv.
In France, a great-granddaughter of Olha Franko, the author of "The First Ukrainian General Practical Kitchen," is opening a mini-bakery specializing in creative animal cookies.
