Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky argued with his American counterpart Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance about the Russian-Ukrainian war.

This information emerged during the meeting's broadcast, aired on a national telethon.

So, first Vance stated that the war between Russia and Ukraine should be resolved through diplomacy. In response, the Ukrainian president said that he had already signed an agreement with Putin, in the presence of the President of France and the Chancellor of Germany.

"Putin occupied a large territory of our country. He occupied Crimea in 2014. He has been occupying territories since 14. No one stopped him. I even signed an agreement with him, and Merkel and Macron confirmed that there would be a ceasefire and no one would go further. And Putin broke this agreement. What diplomacy are you talking about? What diplomacy can there be here?" Zelensky stated.

Trump replied that "Putin could break the terms with Bush, Biden, Obama, but not with me," and Ukraine could not have a position of strength without the US. Trump also added that Zelensky has no cards in his hands, while Zelensky responded that he "didn't come here to play cards."

Zelensky remarked that if a detrimental deal is reached between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, the impact will extend to the US, saying it will "feel it." In response, Vance and Trump expressed their indignation, asserting, "we will be fine," and added that Zelensky has no right to impose his opinion.

"Don't tell us what we're going to feel. We're trying to solve a problem. Don't tell us what we're going to feel. You're in no position to dictate what we're gonna feel. You're right now, not in a very good position. You don't have the cards right now… You're gambling with WWIII. It's going to be very hard to do business like this. You've got to be more thankful," Trump said.

Trump also added that Ukraine allegedly does not express gratitude for the assistance provided and "demonstrates disrespect". He also added:

"You either make a deal or we are out."
