Usyk tops Ring magazine's ranking as best boxer

Ukrainian heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs), holder of the WBO, WBA, and WBC belts, maintains his top spot in the latest pound-for-pound rankings.

The Ring magazine, recently acquired by Turki Al-Sheikh, Head of the Saudi Arabian Entertainment Authority, has published its February 27 rankings.

Notably, the rankings reflect some changes, with Dmitry Bivol climbing above Canada's Russian representative after defeating Artur Beterbiev to claim the title of undisputed light heavyweight world champion.

Also, the world champion in the second lightest weight Jesse Rodriguez bypassed the holder of the WBC, WBA, and WBO titles in the second middleweight Saul Canelo Alvarez.

It should be noted that during the boxing evening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Oleksandr Usyk said that he plans to start preparing for a fight for the title of absolute champion against Daniel Dubois.

On the night of May 19, Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk won his first victory over Briton Tyson Fury, becoming the absolute world boxing champion in the heavyweight category. After the fight, during the conference, Usyk remembered his father, who died in 2012.

On the night of December 22, in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury for the second time. The Ukrainian boxer defeated the Briton by unanimous decision. After the fight, he commented on his victory, which he dedicated to his mother.

Along with the first place in this rating, Usyk also topped the list of the best boxers in the heavyweight division.
