The third solidarity campaign, Radarom! to purchase drones for Ukraine, has ended in Lithuania. The initiative raised over 5 million euros.

LRT reported this.

The Radarom! campaign lasted from February 3 to 24. As a result, it was possible to raise 5 million 614 thousand euros from Lithuanian citizens and businesses. However, the organizers emphasize that this is not yet the final amount, as it will be adjusted after all corporate donations are received.

The funds raised will go to the purchase of drones and anti-drone equipment of Lithuanian and Ukrainian production.

It is worth noting that Lithuanian enterprises and organizations actively joined the initiative, donating almost a third of the total amount collected.

This is the third Radarom! solidarity campaign. During the two previous campaigns, businesses and citizens donated a total of 22.8 million euros. The following were purchased:

  • 17 radars,
  • 69 anti-drones,
  • 4 special vehicles for mobile radars,
  • 1,141 security kits for military personnel.

For reference:

Last year in Lithuania, a coalition of four initiatives to support Ukraine started collecting 5 million euros for five modern air defense radars for Ukraine's armed forces.

During the promotion "Radarom!" in 2023, 14 million euros were collected, which were used to buy 17 radars for Ukraine.

Additionally, they purchased four cars for mobile radars and used the funds to buy 69 anti-drones and their accompanying equipment. They also covered the expenses for training radar operators in Ukraine.

Also more than 8 million euros were collected last year, which were used to purchase more than 1,000 safety kits for Ukrainian military personnel.
