Russia deploys guided aerial bombs on Kherson, injuring 20, including two children
On Monday, October 7, the Russian attackers carried out an airstrike on Kherson, leaving 16 people injured.
The head of the Kherson city military administration, Roman Mrochko, announced this.
According to preliminary data, the Russians released four guided aerial bombs on Kherson, which hit civilian objects.
Blast waves damaged at least six high-rise buildings.

In particular, educational institutions and residential buildings were damaged.
Currently, 16 victims are known. Among them are children aged 3 and 5 years.
Two women went to the hospital independently and are currently undergoing examination. One victim arrived by ambulance. Details about the victims are still being clarified.
Later, the Kherson Regional Military Administration added that one more victim of the Russian airstrike on Kherson needed medical assistance in the hospital. An 18-year-old boy was diagnosed with an explosive injury and leg injuries.
Later, the military administration said that the number of victims due to Russian airstrikes on Kherson had increased to twenty.
"A 66-year-old man who received an explosive injury and a 63-year-old man who received an explosive injury and a contusion went to the hospital. The victim is currently in the hospital," the report said.

As Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional state administration, reported on Facebook, Antonivka, Honcharne, Shyroka Balka, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Kizomys, Zelenivka, Sadove, Novovorontsovka, Mylové, Zelenivka, Olhivka, Poniativka, Prydniprovske and Kherson came under enemy fire and airstrikes.
Russian troops targeted critical infrastructure facilities and residential quarters of populated areas, in particular, damaging:

The Russians also damaged a gas pipeline, a garage, a bus, and private cars.
On the night of October 6, Russia tried to attack Kyiv with the help of drones. Air defense forces successfully destroyed all enemy drones detected in the capital's airspace.
On October 7, Russia again attacked Kyiv with drones. During the night, an air raid alert was declared three times in the capital, lasting more than two hours.
On the morning of October 7, the Russian army launched an attack on Kyiv using Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles. All targets were successfully destroyed. However, some areas of the city experienced falling debris.
As reported, Volodymyr Zelensky said that during the week, Russian troops launched about 20 missiles of various types, more than 800 guided aerial bombs, and almost 400 attack drones of multiple types on the territory of Ukraine.
