Russian army strikes Pokrovsk in Donetsk region: five injured, including a child
On the night of April 5, enemy troops shelled the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, injuring five people, including a 14-year-old child.
The Donetsk regional prosecutor's office reported this on Telegram.
"The enemy wounded five civilians in Pokrovsk, including a 14-year-old boy," the message reads.

The occupiers shelled Pokrovsk around 3 a.m., targeting private residential buildings.
As a result of the hit, four family members who were in one of the apartments during the shelling were injured:
- 70-year-old grandfather with 65-year-old grandmother,
- Also, their 46-year-old daughter and her 14-year-old son.

Another 65-year-old citizen was also injured in the explosions.
Victims with mine-explosive injuries, bruises, and contusions were taken to the hospital.
A number of private residences were damaged in the area that was shelled. The exact weapon used by the enemy to attack the city is still being determined.
In total, over the past day, April 4, Russian invaders killed two residents of the Donetsk region and injured nine more people.

"On April 4, the Russians killed two residents of Donetsk region – in New York. Another nine people in the region were injured during the day," the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported on Facebook.
As Filashkin stressed, the total number of casualties caused by the Russian army in the Donetsk region does not include Mariupol and Volnovakha.

However, even with the ongoing enemy attack, 875 people remain in Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.
