Russian drone strikes apartment building in Vinnytsia region
During the Russian drone attack on Ukraine on the evening of March 14, a Russian drone hit a residential building in the west-central Vinnytsia region, injuring three people.
Rubryka reports the strike, citing the statement of the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Serhii Borzov, on Telegram.
"There has been a drone strike on a residential building in the Vinnytsia region. Three people have been hospitalized. Relevant services are working at the scene," the official said.
Later, the head of the Vinnytsia region reported one killed civilian and four injured.
Today, the governor announced that the number of casualties from the overnight drone attack in the Vinnytsia region has risen. One of the injured individuals passed away in the hospital.
He noted that four people were hospitalized due to the strike on residential buildings. As of the morning of March 15, the number of deaths has risen to two.
"It has just been reported that a woman has passed away in the hospital," said the head of the region.
On the evening of March 14, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the launch and movement of kamikaze drones. Air raid sirens were sounded in several central, eastern, southern, and northern regions.
During the night of March 15, air defense forces in Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, and Kyiv regions downed all 27 "Shahed" drones used by Russia to attack Ukraine.
