Death toll from Russian attack on Odesa rises to 20

Russian missile attack on Odesa has killed twenty people, as search operations are going on.

The city's gas and electricity supply lines have been damaged, State Emergency Service reports.

Ukraine's Prosecutor General previously reported 19 dead and 73 injured.

A search and rescue operation is underway at the sites of Russian attacks, as well as debris removal and mitigation of the attack's consequences.

 

As a result of the rocket attack, gas and electricity supply lines were damaged.

Russian troops attacked Odesa with missiles today, March 15, targeting civilian infrastructure.

Russian troops fired at Odesa with Iskander-M ballistic missiles, launched from the occupied Crimea.

A paramedic and an employee of the State Emergency Service, who had arrived at the scene after the first explosion, were killed.

Local institutions reported that all children who were in schools and kindergartens at the time of the attack were safe.

March 16 was declared a day of mourning in the city and region.
