Solutions to win: “Vsi. Svoi” joins forces with NGO “Zemliachky” to honor women in the military and rally support on International Women’s Day

The collaboration between "Vsi. Svoi" and "Zemliachky" NGO aims to emphasize the contribution of women in the military and urges support on the eve of the International Day of Struggle for Women's Rights.

For the International Day of the Struggle for Women's Rights, the platform of Ukrainian brands "Vsi. Svoi" together with the public organization "Zemliachky" presented the photo project "Hear the military."

The project is on display both in the store windows and inside the store at 27 Khreschatyk, inviting visitors to immerse themselves fully in the world of female military personnel.

What is the problem?

In the conditions of the enemy invasion, more than 60,000 women became part of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, of which about 10,000 are in advanced positions.

"Hear the military" is the voice of women who have chosen the path of protecting the country, putting civilian life on hold in the name of the safety of every one of us. They need recognition and genuine support — a comfortable form and specialized equipment considering the body's anatomy.

What is the solution?

The project features not just photo installations but also audio accompaniment featuring women's stories and an interactive "Listen" cube that enables visitors to immerse themselves fully in the realities of military life.

This initiative allows everyone to contribute to charity by donating a percentage of sales from Ukrainian brands sold at "Vsi. Svoi" on Khreshchatyk, 27, and in the Lavina Mall shopping center to support "Zemliachky."Also, direct donations can be made directly in stores.

Anna Lukovkina, the founder of Vsi. Svoi, notes:

"This project is our way of saying 'thank you' and showing that we see and appreciate every woman who stands in defense of our country. We want their stories to be heard and supported with words and concrete actions."

The "Hear the Military" project is an essential step towards recognizing and supporting women in the military and drawing public attention to their needs and the challenges they face every day.

"Each woman in the Ukrainian army is a symbol not only of courage and strength but also of inexhaustible faith in our country. Through the project "Hear the military," we strive not only to tell their stories but also to show that behind every uniform is a living person with hopes and dreams. We want society not only to listen and watch but also to hear and see the contribution of our defenders and support them with words and actions," emphasizes Ksenia Drahaniuk, co-founder of the "Zemliachky" NGO.

"A comfortable and high-quality military uniform is a basic need for our women defenders on the front lines. In addition, we have thousands of requests from girls for ammunition that takes into account the female anatomy and physiology – a helmet and shoes in the right size, light armor, a warm sleeping bag, and a car mat, etc." – co-founder of the «Zemliachky» NGO Ksenia Drahaniuk said.

In March of 2023, the "Zemliachky" NGO and partners from the beauty industry and Ukrainian companies collected 3 million hryvnias to purchase military tactical shoes for women defenders.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has actively started implementing the policy of gender equality in the security and defense sector.
