Solutions to win: another modular health center opens in war-affected Moshchun replacing destroyed hospital
Another health center was opened in the village of Moshchun to replace the one destroyed by Russian occupation.
What is the problem?
The region's governor Ruslan Kravchenko says that Russian hostilities damaged more than 70% of the housing stock in Moshchun including schools and hospitals.
Russian troops destroyed the village's only medical center.
What is the solution?
A new health center was opened to replace the one destroyed by Russian aggression.
"International partners helped to equip the new Health Center. In particular, the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine Foundation with the support of the governments of the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Sweden, Switzerland and Finland."
How does it work?
Matthew Waterfield, Director of the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine Foundation, helped 800 people currently living in Moshchun to receive quality medical services directly on the spot.
The facility has all the necessary modern equipment, including a licensed telemedicine complex.
A paramedic and a nurse work daily at the Health Center, and they also provide assistance to residents at their place of residence if necessary.
A family doctor sees patients every week, and biological samples are taken.
Moshchun citizens can undergo ultrasound diagnostics.
Kravchenko states medical facilities in the Kyiv region are actively rebuilt. 135 healthcare facilities were destroyed, of which 109 have already been fully or partially restored.
