During the night, Russian occupiers targeted Kharkiv with six strikes. Several loud explosions were heard in the city. Soon after the first explosion, an air alarm was announced in the region.

A 36-year-old woman was injured. Medical assistance was provided to her on-site. Another injured person, a 25-year-old man with blast injuries, was hospitalized. His condition is satisfactory.

On the morning of December 8, after drone and missile attacks on Kharkiv, Russian forces shelled Ukraine with missiles from strategic aviation planes, using seven Tu-95 bombers. The occupiers launched 19 missiles, 14 of which were intercepted.

All missiles heading for Kyiv were successfully intercepted in flight. There is no information on casualties or damage.
