Benefactors give away 700 gifts to children in "Okhmatdyt" Hospital: photo report
The BGV Charity Fund, in partnership with German non-profits Hanseatic Help and #WeAreAllUkrainians, has organized a St. Nicholas Day celebration for the second consecutive year for young Ukrainians receiving treatment at the "Okhmatdyt" national specialized hospital.
On St. Nicholas Day, the BGV Charity Fund's team visited the children's hospital to personally congratulate the kids and hand out 700 gifts. Even St. Nicholas himself paid a visit to the little patients.
These gifts are part of the Christmas campaign, in which Hanseatic Help distributes 5,700 packages to bring joy to vulnerable children. The initiative is supported by the German charity organization #WeAreAllUkrainians, led by Volodymyr Klychko.
"In these challenging times, as the war continues and our country fights for its territories, these children are fighting another battle — for their own health. So, we are delighted to bring them some festive cheer and divert their thoughts from illnesses, even if just for a bit," said the head of the fund.
Supporting young Ukrainians during the war is one of the key priorities of the BGV Charity Fund.
