Russian shell strikes public bus in Kherson
Russian occupiers shelled a shuttle bus in the southern city of Kherson, injuring civilians.
At least four people were injured in the shelling, Rubryka reports, citing the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
One woman is reportedly in a severe condition.
Besides Kherson, the Russian forces also attacked a critical infrastructure facility in Beryslav, the city 30 km north of the regional center. As a result of the shelling, the city was left without electricity. The degree of damage is currently being determined.
Later, it became known that the number of wounded due to the shelling of the bus increased from 4 to 7 people.
"At present, seven people are known to have been injured by the shelling of a shuttle bus in Kherson," Oleksandr Prokudin said.
According to him, these are two men and five women.
"A 36-year-old woman from Kherson was seriously injured. Also, a 69-year-old woman was hospitalized in the surgical department in a moderate condition," said the head of the region, noting that all victims are provided with the necessary medical assistance.
Russian troops carried out 95 rounds of shelling of the Ukraine-controlled Kherson region in the past day, killing two people.
"Over the past day, the Russian forces launched 95 rounds of shellings, firing 514 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad MRLs, tanks, UAVs, and aircraft. The enemy fired 46 shells at the city of Kherson," Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the regional military administration, said on Facebook.
According to Prokudin, 42 guided aerial bomb strikes were recorded in populated areas of the Kherson region. The hits were in the Beryslav and Kherson districts.
As the head of the region reported, the Russian military aimed at residential quarters, a medical institution, the territory of an educational institution in Beryslav district, and a social center in Kherson.

Tonight, the Russian forces also attacked Kherson, killing one person and injuring three. The Russian army shelled the city center from the occupied left bank, damaging high-rise buildings.
One of the apartments caught fire from the impact. An 85-year-old woman died in her apartment. Another victim with burns and poisoning by combustion products was taken to the hospital. Two more wounded — a 68-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman — were treated in a moderate condition.

The Russians also shelled Novoberislav of the Kherson region with artillery. A 46-year-old local who was on the street during the impact was fatally injured. The man died in the hospital.
The head of the region, Oleksandr Prokudin, noted that more than 600 children remain in towns where the security situation is difficult. He urged residents to evacuate.
