Ukrainian medics donated their bonuses to purchase ambulance for army

Doctors of the Emergency Medical Center in Cherkasy decided to transfer their bonuses to buy an ambulance for the Ukrainian military.
What is the problem?
Since the first days of the full-scale war, the Ukrainian military has been in constant need of a large number of vehicles, which, unfortunately, quickly break down. Some of them can be repaired, but most of them become completely useless.
That is why it is necessary to replenish the fleet of defenders. Volunteers and other caring Ukrainians are doing a great job in this regard.
What is the solution?
Ukrainian paramedics from Cherkasy decided to raise funds for their colleagues on the frontline. The bonuses from their salaries helped to purchase an ambulance vehicle.
How does it work?
The total amount of the donation reached over $110,000.
The center's management decided to give bonuses to employees on the occasion of Independence Day. However, the doctors refused so that the medical institution could transfer the funds to the needs of the army instead.

The money helped purchase a truck with a trailer to transport heavy and oversized cargo. Its carrying capacity is 87 tons. Ukraine's health ministry states the vehicle has already been transferred to the military unit to perform combat missions.
Ukrainian volunteers sent 14 vehicles to soldiers on the Zaporizhzhia front. After major repairs, they will be sent to the troops on the southern battlefield, says the director of the UA Free fund Pylyp Vahanov.
According to the digital minister Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukrainian doctors have received 40 emergency vehicles purchased through the United24 fundraiser. All these 40 ambulances will be sent to Dnipro, Sumy, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, Lviv, and Kyiv.
