Morning Russian missile attack on Ukraine
On Friday, a large-scale air alert was announced in Ukraine. The reason was the take-off of the Russian fighter MiG-31K, a potential carrier of the Kinzhal missiles.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned about the missile danger. Loud explosions were heard in Kyiv. The sounds of explosions were also reported in Khmelnytskyi and Kyiv regions.
Later, the local authorities reported that debris had fallen on the territory of one of the capital's children's hospitals in the Obolon district of Kyiv. However, Russian drones hit an oil depot in the western Rivne region, resulting in a large-scale fire.
On the night of August 3, during a Russian attack in the airspace near the capital, all aerial targets were destroyed by the forces and means of air defense, including almost 15 kamikaze drones of the Shahed type.
