How does it work?
It is noted that the package of military aid includes:
- air defense missiles,
- money for the purchase of artillery ammunition.
Approximately forty million euros from the latest aid package are slated to be utilized for the collective procurement of artillery munitions for Ukraine in partnership with the European Union.
The military aid package is formed on the basis of the wishes and needs of Ukraine and is designed to support Ukraine's defense struggle against the Russian military invasion.
"Today's aid package sends an important signal that Denmark will be on Ukraine's side as long as necessary. I am happy that under the auspices of the EU, we are jointly purchasing artillery ammunition and handing it over to Ukraine free of charge, which is absolutely necessary for its liberation struggle," the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Lars Løkke Rasmussen added.
