UAE donates $4 mln to Ukraine to build houses for foster families

The United Arab Emirates provided $4 million to construct modern houses for large Ukrainian foster families.

The First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, announced this, Rubryka reports.

More than 40 family-type children's homes, where almost half a thousand children are raised, are waiting for patrons to build a house.

Ukraine received $4 million from the United Arab Emirates to build houses for the foster families.

How does it work?

The UAE government has allocated $4,000,000 to construct ergonomic, modern houses equipped with shelter for large foster families as part of the Childhood Address project.

The Emirates plans to hand over 2,500 laptops to students of schools in Ukraine's northern Chernihiv region.

As Rubryka reported, the United Kingdom will provide aid for 16 million pounds (almost 20 million US dollars) to support Ukraine's civilian population, which suffered from the consequences of the Russians' destruction of the Kakhovka HPP dam.

Also, Japan announced emergency humanitarian aid to Ukraine for $5 million to deal with the consequences of the Russian occupiers blowing up the Kakhovka HPP dam.
