Denmark to allocate new military aid package to Ukraine

Denmark will allocate a new package of military aid to Ukraine worth more than 250 million dollars.

The Ministry of Defense of Denmark reported this.

"Russia's violent invasion of Ukraine requires Denmark to continue its support, and therefore the government, with the support of the parliament, has drawn up another package of military donations for Ukraine," the message reads.

The Ministry of Defense of Denmark also added that the package is currently the largest from the country and is intended to support the future Ukrainian offensive.

According to the adopted decision, Denmark will transfer mine clearance machines, ammunition, field bridges, and funds for air defense to Ukraine.

"Denmark is helping to create the best possible conditions for Ukraine to complete the upcoming offensive successfully and, in the long term, to defend Ukraine successfully," said Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.

He also added that Denmark's total support to Ukraine reached 11 billion Danish kroner (over $1,600,000,000).
