russian forces are deporting people to an unknown direction in the occupied town of Starobilsk in the eastern Luhansk region as they are suspected of supporting Ukraine.
General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces makes the relevant statement.
"The cases of kidnapping civilians in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine by the occupiers are ongoing." the report says.
Specifically, in Starobilsk, in the Luhansk region, russian forces search for citizens, who they suspect of supporting Ukraine, and then deport them in an unknown direction without bringing them back.
The russians are also carrying out "filtering measures" against the residents of the temporarily occupied districts of the Zaporizhzhia region. In particular, it is known about a number of cases of kidnapping.
As russian occupiers cannot destroy the resistance in the Zaporizhzhia region, they are turning the captured territories into a high-security prison.
russian forces have been practicing these "measures" since 2014, when pro-Ukrainian citizens resisted russia's activity in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
