Ukraine's Defense Minister discussed future Ramstein-6 meeting with Pentagon head

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksii Reznikov, during a telephone conversation with his American colleague Lloyd Austin, discussed the upcoming meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the "Ramstein-6" format scheduled for October 12.
He announced this on Twitter.
"Had a telephone conversation with the head of the Pentagon. We discussed the updated state of affairs from the front line, Ramstein-6, and ways to strengthen our capabilities. Good news will be announced soon," Reznikov wrote.
He added: Defense Minister Lloyd Austin confirmed that the US does not recognize sham referenda in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
"The Ukrainian army will continue to use weapons to de-occupy its land," Reznikov emphasized.

The US-led Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine will next meet on October 12 in Brussels, on the eve of the Alliance's defense ministers meeting scheduled for October 13.
The previous fifth meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the "Ramstein" format was held at the "Ramstein" airbase in Germany on September 8. Then, during the meeting, the parties agreed on further activating training programs for the Ukrainian military.
The meetings in the "Ramstein" format were initiated with the aim of collective support for Ukraine to meet the defense needs of the Ukrainian army in the face of the russian invasion.
