Woman from Kyiv Oblast plants vegetables around burnt-out Russian tank in her garden

Luydmila Nishenko from the village of Velyka Dymerka in Kyiv Oblast has to plant vegetables in her garden around the remains of a burnt-out Russian tank.

The woman posted photos of wartime "landscape design" on Facebook.

"I poured soil on a tank in the garden, planted flowers and said: 'Don't take the tank away until autumn! Only after I dig up potatoes and cut cabbage!'" she said in a Facebook post on July 20.

"Unbreakable and hard-working Ukrainian women! God bless you, because everything is in your hands!"

The press service of Ukraine's General Staff drew attention to the post and also published the relevant photo.

"Ukrainians cannot be defeated. The tank turret is waiting to be taken away. But for now, the remains of a Russian tank make a good container for compost," the report says.

Earlier it was reported that it was in the village of Velyka Dymerka where the Russian military training manual had been found after the withdrawal of Russian troops.
