Russia continues to regroup and strengthen its troops in Ukraine, the enemy is preparing to intensify offensive operations in the east.
It is stated by the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Motuzyanyk during a briefing, Ukrainian Pravda reports.
"The enemy is conducting an offensive operation in the East. The main goal of the enemy remains unchanged, he stressed. He meant clarification of the grouping of Ukraine's Defense Forces, establishing full control over the territory of Donetsk, Luhansk and Kherson regions, ensuring the stability of the land corridor with the occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, "he said.
Motuzyanyk noted that Russian troops are gradually increasing the intensity of the offensive in eastern Ukraine simultaneously in all directions.
Their greatest activity is observed in Slobozhansky and Donetsk. In addition, there were signs of preparation of the aggressor for even greater intensification of hostilities. This is indicated by some preparatory actions of the enemy.
For example, at the Balakliia Central Clinical District Hospital, beds are being vacated and an additional field hospital has been set up.
And in the Russian city, Rostov-na-Donu on the territory of the military clinical hospital deployed additional refrigeration facilities to store the bodies of fallen servicemen.
