Ukrainian Armed Forces say there is a high probability that Russia will attack Kyiv again
The probability that the russian army will make another attempt to capture Kyiv is high.
This was stated at a briefing by Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Hruzevych, Ukrinform reports.
"After the regrouping, there will be another attempt to capture the capital, unequivocally. This will give them the opportunity to dictate their demands, to win in the situation because now russia is like a driven wolf," Hruzevych said, answering questions from journalists.
He noted that the enemy had two strategic goals: to reach the borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and capture Kyiv and then bring the country to its knees. The enemy did not succeed either there or there. It then focused on one of his strategic goals, but the likelihood that there will be another attempt to attack Kyiv remains.
Hruzevych clarified that the part of the occupiers that remains in Belarus is quite large. Russia hopes that all Ukrainian forces will throw to the east, he suggested, but this should not be expected.
Kyiv remains under reliable protection, Hruzevych added.
