No casualties were reported.

To recap, the Russian army significantly reduced the pace of advance but did not abandon the offensive.

On the night of March 8, 22 people were killed in an air bombardment in Sumy by Russian troops, three of them children and eight wounded.

People are trying to leave the city, some have already managed to do so through the Sumy – Poltava evacuation corridor.
