The 23rd EU-Ukraine Summit to take place tomorrow

Tomorrow, October 12, the 23rd European Union-Ukraine Summit will take place in Kyiv.

The press service of the Office of the President announced this, Rubryka reports.

The event will be chaired by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

The leaders will discuss the achievements and prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU within the implementation of the Association Agreement, the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, energy security and deepening sectoral cooperation.

The agenda also includes issues of cooperation in the field of security and defense, the development of the situation in Donbas and the occupied Crimea.

Several agreements between Ukraine and the European Union are planned to be signed as part of the Summit.

A joint statement will be adopted as a result of the Summit.
